Little Humans, Big Feelings explores diversity of emotions as well as diversity of people. The book features different emotions that are normal in children, such as anger, loneliness, anxiety, and gives them an alternative way to see them, at the same time that it reassures them that it’s completely normal to feel these emotions.
Exploring these concepts was increidbly rewarding to me. I personally think that showing kids diverse charcters in which they can see themselves represented, is a fundamental task of the book industry today. Life examples shown in a fun way, are the perfect way to fuel children imagination and give them the tools to be the best version of themselves.
